WINDOW FILM INSTALLATION – TERMS & CONDITIONS / COMPANY POLICY
1. General Agreement
By proceeding with our services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to clearly outline responsibilities, limitations, and warranty conditions related to the installation and use of window films.
2. Scope of Work
Our company provides professional installation of window films.
All work is considered completed once:
• The film has been installed
• The customer has had the opportunity to visually inspect the installation
• No immediate installation defects are reported at the time of completion
At this point, the responsibility for the care and maintenance of the film transfers to the customer.
3. Customer Responsibility After Installation
Once installation is completed, the customer is fully responsible for the condition and care of the film.
We are not responsible for any damage caused after installation, including but not limited to:
• Use of cleaning chemicals or solutions (including glass cleaners or household products)
• Use of abrasive materials (cloths, sponges, paper towels, blades, etc.)
• Incorrect cleaning methods
• Scratches, marks, or damage caused by the customer
• Damage caused by third parties
• Damage caused by pets (e.g. scratching, biting, or contact with the film)
• Any form of physical interference with the film
⚠️ Important:
Window film is not glass — it is a plastic-based material and can be damaged by improper cleaning or handling.
We strongly recommend:
• Using only approved, non-aggressive cleaning methods
• Testing any cleaning product on a small, hidden area first
Failure to follow these precautions may result in permanent damage, for which we are not liable.
4. Cleaning & Maintenance Disclaimer
The company does not guarantee compatibility with any cleaning products unless explicitly stated.
If the customer chooses to use any chemical or cleaning product:
• This is done entirely at their own risk
• Any resulting damage is not covered under warranty or refund policy
5. Warranty & Workmanship
We stand behind the quality of our installation work.
If an issue occurs due to:
• Poor installation
• Film lifting, bubbling, or peeling under normal conditions (without external damage)
We will:
• Inspect the issue
• Repair or reinstall the film at no additional cost
⚠️ However:
• This is a repair/replacement service only
• This does not qualify for a refund
6. Refund Policy
Our refund policy is strict and limited.
We provide refunds ONLY in the following case:
• The film is confirmed to be manufacturing defective
(e.g. faulty material, does not perform as intended despite correct installation and use)
No Refunds Will Be Issued In Cases Including (but not limited to):
• Damage caused by cleaning chemicals
• Damage caused by improper maintenance
• Scratches or marks after installation
• Damage caused by pets
• Damage caused by the customer or third parties
• Misuse or mishandling of the film
• Peeling or damage due to external factors
• Customer dissatisfaction due to appearance after improper care
7. Removal or Replacement Services
If the film is damaged after installation:
• We can offer film removal or replacement
• This will be treated as a chargeable service
Prices will depend on:
• Size of the area
• Condition of the film
• Labour required
8. Customer Acknowledgement
By agreeing to our services, the customer confirms that:
• They understand that window film is a delicate surface
• They accept full responsibility for maintenance after installation
• They understand and accept the no-refund policy for post-installation damage
• They agree to follow proper care guidelines
9. Disputes & Claims
We aim to resolve all matters professionally and fairly.
• Any concerns must be reported promptly
• We reserve the right to inspect the issue before taking action
• False or misleading claims may be challenged with documented evidence
10. Public Reviews & Communication
We respect all customer feedback.
However:
• We reserve the right to respond publicly and transparently to any reviews
• We may provide factual explanations regarding:
• Cause of damage
• Misuse or improper care
• Breach of agreed terms
This ensures future customers receive accurate information.
11. Legal
• These Terms & Conditions form part of the service agreement
• By proceeding, the customer agrees to all terms listed above
• Any legal enquiries or third-party involvement (including authorities) will be handled formally and directly
12. Final Statement
Our goal is to provide high-quality installation and long-lasting results.
However, the longevity and appearance of the film depend heavily on how it is treated after installation.
We are committed to fairness — but we are not responsible for damage caused after our work is completed.
